Dependable. Doable. Simple.

God speaks to one—Yet avoids another?

In fact,

As you will see, the LORD plain ignores them.

He even walks away from,

• Their most desperate times.

• When they need Him most.

• Even their heartfelt prayer.

Yet conversely…

Speaks over and over. Again and again, to one type of saint (sometimes despite the obvious, bad sin in their life).

Why?

Is GOD biased? Does He have favourites—some He’s more lenient with than others?

Hmmm…

Anyway, something to chew over later eh?

Instead for now, let’s focus on…

Getting ourselves included in the special group of those that He (always) speaks with first before anyone else.

And blessed saint of the Most High,

Here’s how to do so…

There are only two types of people who claim to know GOD, the only wise and true GOD that is—The God and Father of Jesus Christ, saviour of the world.

1. Those who worship Him.

2. Those who don’t.

To illustrate,

Consider these two ‘followers of GOD’.

Both great men. Both valiant in battle. Both commanders of armies.

Both called of GOD.

Yet here’s the difference…

God always speaks (directly) with one.

And never speaks to the other—despite his pleadings (He only sends words to him conveyed by a third party. A prophet etc. No direct face to face communion of hearts).

Of course,

We’re considering David and Saul.

This past week, I had great joy when listening to the audio below.

In a split second I saw what the Holy Spirit was driving at. His voice was unmistakable. It makes the distinction between those who serve GOD and those who don’t (yet seem as though they do) crystal clear.

Since Dr. Michael Heiser died recently, I was somewhat concerned his podcast may also die a death too. Yet I have been happily encouraged by what’s happening.

Good saints are stepping up to the plate and digging in.

Nay, better still they are digging up rare treasures for the Body of Christ. If this podcast continues in this vein, many years of fruitful ministry lie ahead.

• David worshipped as he worked (shepherding as a nobody) just because he loved the LORD. He loved singing to Him, songs he just made up!

• Saul never worshipped (only as a public show).

So remember…

GOD is seeking one thing only.

YOU :)

Yet also, you doing one thing in particular.

Not praying.

No…

Worshipping Him. Singing songs with love to Him. Making melody to Him, just pouring out your whole heart before Him in tunes of the heart. In adoration.

At His feet…

Bowing down, in love before Him.

Not because you have to...

Because you want to.

You worship Him, in spirit and truth.

Not just on Sunday…

Every single day.

Those are the ones He speaks with.

• Doable.

• Dependable.

• Simple to grasp.
