I need your shadow of healing

Your answer to death spirits

Hi overcomer,

Quite excited as I rattle this off to you.

Because…

Our youngest lad is coming home from Uni for a few days :)

Anyhow, after phoning me to let me know, he switches topics to his latest discovery…

He reckons he’s figured out why GOD is omnipresent.

Naturally, I leaned in. I was all ears…

Well,

Turns out… BAM he’s got it!

Both from a maths and physics perspective (the lads studying both at Uni) as well as what the Bible says too.

Anyway,

Since we spoke I’ve been chewing over the illuminating conclusion he left me with.

Which incidentally,

Reminded me of a very good sales rep I worked alongside years ago who succeeded everywhere he went.

And one day told me his secret…

“Dave, what happens when you walk in a room? Does it light up or does it dim down?”

He wanted to light up everyone he met. And it sure worked well.

I think about his words often.

Do we…

Light up a room.

Or dim it?

That said,

The LORD also makes it plain.

Even our shadows can light up a room.

Or heal some...

“Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. 

As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. 

Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.”

Acts 5:14-16 NIV

Hence overcomer.

Even if you feel nothing you still cast a shadow.

Sometimes.

It's a shadow powerful enough to...

Wipe the smile off the shadow of death pecking the heart out of a bleeding soul struggling to live.

Let’s be realistic though.

To do that, our weak shadow needs help.

Because,

It’s not us who raise anyone from the dead is it?

No.

The LORD GOD of Israel alone does this.

All the glory is His only.

Of course,

Sometimes GODS will is to not bring them back.

He wants certain dead… to stay dead.

Safe behind bars in Hades.

However…

When IT IS His will to bring somebody back to life (even if just to teach a wicked, evil man a much needed lesson)… Jesus will answer your prayer as in Chapter 5 here.

So overcomer.

The rest of this important week.

Be determined to walk into every room, knowing you cast a good shadow. You've got what it takes. The Spirit of GOD loves you. And will back you.

Light it up.

Paul says it this way…

“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”

2 Corinthians 3:1-3 NIV

To wrap up then.

GOD is Omnipresent.

Our Father, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob does the healing…

Anywhere at all!

Believe He will... and He will.

"Jesus said, 'Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?'"

John 11:40 NIV

In conclusion,

(And to underscore what we’ve been talking about), some big breaking news:

Israel is entering Bible times all over again!

(Loads of folks are getting saved, healed, delivered over there :)

Likewise,

Jesus is sending you to one who needs you overcomer.

And as you go God will overshadow you with grace and power.

Just like He did with Peter because He’s Omnipresent…
