It took twenty minutes

She looked 10 years younger

Good Tuesday,

Beloved of GOD and destined for great glory.

Lately…

I’ve been reflecting on a remarkable woman.

However,

I also recall her haunting words when we met in her flat at midnight…

“If I kill myself, it may repay what I have done.”

Isn’t that a terrible weight to carry?

Having to pay back all the bad things we have done?

And her guilt was crushing her.

She knew she’d killed two of her children. She admitted it… and so tried to kill herself two weeks before.

Yet,

Jesus is LORD of life. He loves life.

He gives life.

He saves lives from the wicked one who was a murderer from the beginning.

So…

That night she was just about to commit suicide again… and the devil rejoiced thinking he had her at last!

But Jesus had different plans.

He spoke to an odd neighbour who KNOCKED her door around midnight… and then of course Jesus rescued her from destroying herself.

Later,

After she’d stopped crying and praying and wiped away her tears… suddenly she looked so young! Her age seemed reversed by ten years :)

Jesus made her sparkly new.

And listen dear one.

He will do it for you too. No matter what you may be struggling to carry, don’t carry it… Jesus already has. His back was whipped and slashed open in a bloody mess.

Then they forced Him to carry the heavy cross up to Golgotha.

He was carrying it for you.

And this is how it always works…

ASK.

SEEK.

KNOCK.

Believe Him. He will do it.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Matthew 7:7 NIV

Got to go now, but want to leave you with this…

I’m praying for you.

Yup.

So…

Two of us can ASK our wonderful Father who sends His Son to do miracles can’t we?
