Hi,
Just now it’s the interlude...
Between what's been and what is to come.
Or as Ecclesiastes puts it so well...
"That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past."
Ecclesiastes 3: 15 KJV
And so now we have that clear may I ask,
What happened to you?
This past year that is…
Did you spend more time with Jesus?
Did you worship our dear Father in Heaven more?
Did you share Gods love more? Did you give more?
Again practically...
Did you fast? Did you overcome more?
Did you remove enemy access points?
Did you break vicious cycles?
Did you sin less?
If not don't worry,
Because Jesus loves and redeemed us we can win anyway :)
Grace is always ours forever.
Psalm 23 assures us, "Goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives." May GOD reverse every one of your failures and instead grant you humble success.
So however your year was, as we turn into the next one my prayer is you enjoy mutiple breakthroughs for GOD's glory.
And to help you do so on a practical note,
It's helpful to keep records.
Things like...
When GOD speaks to you. Your victories.
The temptations you overcome.
Those you help. Those who help you.
I use a simple software to keep my notes like this.
One called... WORKFLOWY.
(It's very easy to use. No cost).
Finally,
To wrap up, think on this...
"Where there is no vision, the people perish."
Proverbs 29:18 KJV
So before this new year begins...
Write down your [GOD given] vision. Read it often in the next twelve months because it's the map the LORD GOD Almighty is giving you to your glorious future.
"And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it."
Habakkuk 2:2 ESV
Because as you very well know...
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
Ecclesiastes 3: 1 KJV
I will be praying your Godly vision will come to pass this year.
May He give you courage and grace to bring it to fruition. May He route every enemy who tries to prevent you achieving great victory.
So much so that others will then glorify your Father in Heaven by saying...
"Wow! What happened to YOU? Surely this can only be GOD!"
Blessings,
Dave.
PS You do know this vision is about you don’t you?
“For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.”
Romans 8:29 ESV
Have faith, for by believing Him you cannot and you won’t lose.
Thanks, Dave. Short, sweet, and to the point. My Godly vision is in Him seeing the world through my frail mind.
Bless you Stephen! I have a keen sense your 'frail mind' is clearer than so many... and certainly knows what's coming upon this earth at the speed of light before Jesus returns for His bride.
May GOD give you grace to continue in praise despite the darkness everywhere precious son of light.
