As you’ve stepped (perhaps cautiously) into this week,
May this truth strengthen you...
"He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach."

e.g. You 'before him now'...
Now holy!
Now blameless :)
Now beyond reproach!
And it's true...
Jesus is ALWAYS NOW!*
So... er... now ;) ... there's a solid foundation to build your winning week on for sure saint of GOD.
Yet.
Either way, win or even lose... (like me as I wrote last week about my bad loss recently...
Yet, it’s still... okay that I lost a key battle.
The question is… did I learn from it?
Did I let the LORD teach me what I (really) need to know?
Can I regroup?
Do I need to seek wise counsel—Do I need input from wiser elders? (Yup!)
Do I need to ask the LORD to raise up a strong team of intercessors to hold what we take for Christ... so it’s not lost when counter attacks come because the vision gets bigger than my boots?
(Er... almost certainly!)
Can I re-arm?
Can I sharpen my weapons and return to the front? Fight the good fight of faith for precious Jesus another day?
Hmmm.
Plenty to chew over.
And.
If I can honestly answer yes, then, each painful loss learned in life’s daily classroom... is worth infinitely more than it’s weight in gold.
Which of course is the point of all this isn’t it?
Just.
To know Jesus…
"Indeed I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as refuse, in order that I may gain Christ."
Philippians 3:8 RSV
That is life itself, to know Him.
Everything else follows.
Rivers of living water will flow from you blessing others wherever you go, whether you win, lose or draw.
So,
This week be bold.
Attempt some stuff.
Hear the LORD.
Or...
Even miss-hear the LORD…
At least then, by stepping step out by faith, you are in the game trying to make a difference. Out the field playing for Him… one of HIS DARLINGS,
A sparkly diamond of His on earth.
Then when you are in the thick of it...
When your back is up against the wall. Whether you win, whether you fail…. Or even nearly die trying… Jesus knows you and He loves you.
In fact…
He assigned two very special agents to watch your back this week.
To follow you. To make sure you cannot fail.
What are their names?
GOODNESS and MERCY.
Make friends with them saint...
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."

They have never been known to fail… ever.
