The new freer version of you
Hi saint.
This breakthrough "Brought me out into a large place."
(Psalm 18:19)
It's a stable place where patient, consistent victory can become your experience. Sunshine, rain or storm, won't matter.
Not that there will be no enemies to face.
There will be.
Yet here's the thing.
If you apply this CONSISTENTLY against the powers of darkness...
They have no choice but to obey you.
The 'Divine Border Line' you draw in the spirit stops them in their tracks. They can't cross over. You will be one side. They on the other. And they will KEEP losing.
You will win.
Then keep winning.
And as God's grace starts multiplying in your life, take more and more ground. Your confidence will skyrocket. And as a reward, a place where you will not be visited with evil will be yours.
"The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil."
Proverbs 19:23 NKJV
Let's see how it works with this familiar text…
"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."
Romans 8:2 NKJV
First imagine you’re a citizen of UK (I am, so it’s easy for me).
In England I can...
Speak my mind to a certain extent. (Yep, still despite all the cancel culture etc). I may get heckled, yet I can say mostly what I wish.
I can criticise the Government, Police, officials or the work they do. I can voice political opinion as I see fit.
I can travel as I wish and remain relatively free at liberty.
I can do all this because of UK LAWS. This law goes back to the Magna Carta itself, the foundation of Englands legal system.
I can live peacefully and unmolested as I go about my daily business.
However, were I a citizen of another country with harsher laws, the consequences could be severe if I did the same there.
Now picture this...
Imagine some officials from a far off country fly over and try to arrest me in England for sharing (while in UK) the Bible or critcising their foreign government.
No matter how powerful those officials are in their own country, here in UK they simply could not lift a finger against me.
Their authority would be useless.
UK Law protects me.
Should they try to arrest me, the UK police would ARREST THEM NOT ME. I would stay free. They cannot arrest me.
Why?
Their laws DON'T APPLY here.
Here's a live example (when I was abroad in a 'far off country' actually so it's a wee bit different, yet it may be an even more powerful illustration).
Once in a hot country...
I was prevented from leaving at the airport. Passport officials and border guards tried to intimidate me. Cell time beckoned. It was worrying.
What did I do to turn the tables on my 'arrest'?
By GOD's grace I intimidated them.
How?
I used a powerful law to my advantage.
Here is what I said (boldly) to the two officials harrassing me...
"What's your name? Do you have ANY IDEA WHO MY FATHER IS? Check my name and realise that if you do let me get on that plane you will be in serious trouble.
I have a British Passport and if you prevent me catching this flight there will be great trouble for you. The consultate already knows I am here.
Check who my Father is now and see for yourself."
Because I wasn't afraid of their bullying threat they went away looking flustered until...
Returning ten minutes later they put me on my flight, apologising for any 'misunderstanding' and wishing me a safe journey.
Two things to note...
My Passport = Represented solid legal authority [danger to them, they knew they were on shaky ground].
My father worked in the UK Foreign Office = Serious legal clout. Bad news for them should anyone trouble me (even in a land with different laws to those in UK... which always helps ;).
I never mentioned my actual Dad of course ;)
And of course when I'd challenged them...
I was thinking of my 'Father in Heaven' because I'd been praying quietly through the whole pesky affair. I'd insisted on my way, rebuking the enemy because of the authority given me as one of His sons.
So,
They backed down.
We passed through unhindered.
And.
It is exactly the same in the spiritual realm too.
The powers of darkness will try to threaten you and make you afraid. They want to see if you crumble in fear.
They want to test if YOU KNOW GODs Word (and if you dare to use it against them).
Here's the truth though...
When they try to attack you they know they are TRESPASSING.
They know the law they are trying to trick you into obeying… is very thin ice.
They know they operate under a broken law... (The Law of Sin and Death). A law which has been shattered because Jesus ended it’s authority over us by His blood on the Cross of Golgotha.
So,
They know their law no longer has any power over saints like you or I. Saints washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ and walking in His righteousness.
Remember too, James reveals the demons 'tremble'.
They are afraid…
"Even the demons believe—and tremble! "
James 2:6 NKJV
Why?
Their authority is gone forever.
And get this...
They are really AFRAID you will discover what is IN YOUR PASSPORT! That you will find out you've GOT HEAVENLY, DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY.
They know you have documents proving you’ve been rescued by the Spirit of GOD and transferred to a NEW COUNTRY (in the spiritual realm just now - but later in the Millenium Reign of Christ encompassing all, heavenly and earthly realms).
(They just don't know if YOU know it yet... they hope not).
Paul puts it like this...
"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [transferred] us into the kingdom of his dear Son."
Colossians 1:13 KJV
So now…
Claim your immunity from the law of sin and death.
Jesus paid for your 'Passport' out of that wretched 'country'. The laws that operate there, no longer legally apply to you.
IF....
You refuse to accept them when the powers of darkness try to intimidate you.
Reject their lies and fear. Claim OUT LOUD your freedom from them. Jesus will back up your claim in the law courts of heaven, by interceding for you (Hebrews 7:25).
Refuse...
Ill health.
Fear, worry, anxiety.
Attacks on family, friends and relationships.
Oppression and despair, wordly care.
Attacks on your finances or career (guard them).
To deploy the 'Law of the Spirit Of Life In Christ Jesus'...
Speak the Laws of the Spirit out LOUD and meditate on the scriptures on them.
Claim your liberty, then command the powers of darkness to release anything in your life operating through sin and death. Tell them you have authority to do this because their law has NO LEGAL jurisdiction over you.
(Kind of like North Korean law has no claim over me in UK for instance).
So,
If you want it, claim it, defend it. Keep it.

So seek Him.
