Dear overcomer.
My wife and I had a lovely day out for our Anniversary this week.
We are celebrating…
Our first thirty six years of marriage.
Pretty wow :)
Especially considering how much the enemy has tried blowing us to bits over the years.
So yes, there was that.
Point in case, attacks on our family…
For instance once I had to whiz out on an emergency flight to rescue one of our daughters hospitalised in Qatar.
Brutal.
The night before Christmas Eve too.
Yet praise Him, the LORD (always) gives victory.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
Psalm 34:19 ESV
Thankfully.
Over the years,
We’ve also learned key lessons on how to hit back.
Spiritual drills on striking down enemy ambushes against us before they take off.
We are not victims—we have authority in Christ by GOD’s grace to release His power into everyday situations (and not just get run over by evil attack).
And so by His grace, we’ve discovered,
Because the ‘Eyes of the LORD’ are everywhere (2 Chronicles 16:9),
He’s got your back.
The Holy Spirit reveals…
What time the assault is due.
Which type of attack is coming.
Why the attack is coming.
And that last point is most vital.
Why. Why. Why.
Know why.
Because…
“The curse causeless shall not come.”
Proverbs 26:2 KJV
For whatever kicks off in your life has a reason.
There is always a cause.
And…
When stuff you are involved in dries up.
Falls apart. Blows up. Dies.
Suffers loss etc.
Then overcomer you must get to the root of that cause fast.
For a curse can only operate if it has due CAUSE.
As such,
Understanding the real causes of what’s going on is vital… especially now in these End Times.
Therefore ask Father to help you master this key gift…
DISCERNMENT
“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit… to another discernment of spirits.”
1 Corinthians 12: 4,10 NABRE
And btw,
This gift of the Holy Spirit is not just for identifying spirits either.
No, it’s much broader in scope.
It covers…
Discerning evil spirits. It will help you identify the spirits in operation all around you (Sadly, even in some Churches… eek!)
Plus also give you clear discernment across a whole spectrum of the enemies subtler works through other people, places or programs as well.
Here are a couple of ways that discernment recently helped my wife and I side-step a whole lot of trouble.
The first is a very controversial topic, so I will not linger on it.
Anyway,
After some time as I sought the LORD concerning what was going on during the pandemic etc, a certain topic kept rising from my spirit into my mind.
As I prayed about it it kept coming back to me and would not leave.
Now here’s the thing during this time…
Nobody in the media,
Nor even the alternate media was writing or reporting about this scientific advancement I was getting in my spirit at all.
Yet.
I felt the Holy Spirit was talking to me about it.
Giving me discernment so I’d avoid future pain or loss.
So,
What did He reveal to me?
This overcomer…
NANO-TECHNOLOGY
(Tucked inside synthetic biology, since found to be growing in humans now).*

I got this way before whistleblowers began discovering and reporting all the patents pharmaceutical companies and certain AGENCIES had taken out to use this tech specifically inside…

A potion which multitudes have consumed these past few years.
Thankfully, because of this discernment…
I refused all pressure to receive the I n j _ c _ t i _ n here in UK.
And I am glad I did.
Anyhow,
I am not lingering on this.
Since then, brave souls began blowing the lid on what’s been secretly going on.*
Anyway,
My point in all this is,
The Holy Spirit gave me discernment before I was forced to make a decision.
I had time to think. Before my back was against the wall. Time to set myself.
To set my face as a flint against what was coming to my door.
Hence,
Correct discernment is vital from now until Jesus returns.
Remember Jesus warned us…
“Watch out that no one deceives you.”
Matthew 24:4 NIV
Next…
Spotting an evil spirit
The second example involves my wife and I discerning an evil spirit in operation (sadly) in a meeting.
One day a man was speaking up the front of Church (not our usual Church), when all of a sudden he kind of ‘verbally stumbled’ and slightly went off topic.
It was subtle yet I spotted what happened very clearly…
The chap shared a scenario. A word picture.
And I saw it (in the spirit)…
An unclean spirit took his faltering words (via the slightly changed topic) and ‘connected’ or called to another unclean spirit also present in the meeting… a different spirit who’d come with/or in a woman listening third row back.
Now honestly,
She probably had ZERO idea of what was taking place.
I saw it instantly though.
It was impossible not to see it frankly.
It was as if a ‘ripple’ or semi-invisible ‘wave’ flowed over the room.
And…
BAM!
A connection in the spirit had been made between these two folk.
Sadly not a connection of blessing from the Holy Spirit either.
Later my wife concurred she’d had clear witness and discernment concerning the man speaking too.
For the scripture says…
“On the testimony of two or three witnesses a fact shall be established.”
2 Corinthians 13:1 NABRE
(Let’s not start imagining things eh? This topic is far too serious. Confirm all things).
“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God”.
1 John 4:1 NIV
Lastly.
Remember, there is always a cause for all that happens.
Seek the LORD for the gift of discernment.
Discern all wisely, cautiously.
Test all.
You’ll be glad you did.
Far safer too.

Yes, spiritual discernment is vital! One thing that was personally surprising is that much of such discernment in my life has been to observe the spirit of God in people and His works taking place in the world. Anyway, whatever you need to discern, God will show you.
